Our traditional Korean place closes on Sundays (I know, why!?!?), so we've had to find a new place for those Sundays the call for kimchi is too strong. And we found Un Am Jung just some blocks from the other restaurant!
We've tried memil guksu (메밀국수), cold buckwheat noodles similar to the Japanese zarusoba...
...and sundubu jjigae (순두부찌개), a stew with tofu, mushrooms, onion, chilli powder and seafood (in my case, clams). Delicious!
So now we can have authentic, yummy Korean food any day of the week! Yay!
