Thunderstorm and CN Tower

The CN Tower, colour orange in honour of the late Jack Layton from the NDP, and lake Ontario, both in the midst of a thunderstorm.

Lightning hit the CN Tower several times, and appeared horizontally over the lake several others.

Mesmerizing.

"You are here"

At TIFF Bell Lightbox. A Canadian independent film. By Daniel Cockburn. I'm not going to tell you what it's about, because I'll probably be wrong, off, or something. But it is an interesting reflection (commentary) on life and awareness (or not?), and a Canadian indie. Watch it while you can (or not).

Sun with chocolate and flowers

Toronto's best chocolate ANYTHING at SOMA. Here: flourless chocolate cake and Mayan ginger-chili-orange chocolate on ice. Awesome.

Warabi Mochi

If you've ever had them and loved them, you'll also have realised they're not easy to find. Ematei Restarurant does, and they're good. (well, all the food was delicious, absolutely)
